Study Visit at Maastricht University

Following the Study Visit at the University of Alicante, the CIPnet project partners made a Study Visit at Maastricht University (the Netherlands) on 27th and 28th of September 2018.

The CIPnet consortium was represented by Professors of Law, Directors of Research Offices and representatives of Technology Transfer Offices from seven Chinese Universities and also by three representatives from Jagiellonian University, the project coordinator.

The Study Visit was hosted by Maastricht University Faculty of Law. The participants were introduced to Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property management at Maastricht University. Among others, the CIPnet partners met Prof. Henri Theunissen, Chief Valorisation Officer at Maastricht University and Brightlands Maastricht Health Campus, and discussed the activities of Maastricht Valorisation Centre and commercialization procedures at Maastricht University.

The CIPnet partners also had a Project Management Meeting devoted to project management issues and further activities planned within the CIPnet project framework.

The next CIPnet project activity is the Training of Trainers Workshop scheduled to take place in Beijing, China, on December 20-21, 2018.
