ONLINE WORKSHOP “LICENSING IP RIGHTS. FOCUS ON UNIVERSITIES” IS NOW AVAILABLE

We are pleased to inform that the first CIPnet Online Workshop is now available on the CIPnet Online Training platform!

The topic of the first Workshop is “Licensing IP Rights. Focus on Universities”. The Workshop consists of three units:

- Unit I – Licensing and Universities: offers a brief explanation of possible ways of transferring and acquiring knowledge in academic environment

- Unit II – Basics of licensing agreement from legal perspective: presents basic conditions and legal terminology used in license contracts as well as commonly recognized license types and their practical impact

- Unit III – License structure: provides a checklist for a license agreement and sample clauses

Each of the Units above includes a recorded lecture illustrated by power point presentation and is completed with several self-assessment questions and quizzes.

The Workshop will be useful for staff dealing with IP, researchers and students.

The Training is free of charge, and is accessible at the CIPnet Online Training platform. To access the Online Workshop, you will need to create your user account and receive an individual password. The registration is fast and simple. The user account can be also used to access further Online Workshops offered by the CIPnet project.
